When i was young would be youth- clubs and friends from village we would go to local pics and out together. Now young people spend so much time playing games things on net never mix alot only at collage and un and school... is the net -dating for 18/19 20s now too ? And is it better to meet a person like that then at a bar or disco as you get to know them first. ??

Despite what the media would have us believe, most youngsters don't live their entire lives online. All of my youngest's friends were met at social gatherings and through friends of friends. They may communicate through social networking sites when they're not meeting up in person but they definitely still primarily live 'in the flesh' and for real.

The only real difference I can see is that they know WAY more about everything than I ever did at their age as everything about everything is out there on the net

Don't know how old he is but aren't there any youth clubs / discos or sports clubs nearby?
