I'd say it's about being able to put yourself in the shoes of the person you're about to message, before you press send.

It's about being able to effectively communicate.

Some creative writing, thought and effort put into photography on your profile.

Confidence in yourself in so far as not letting some of the bullshit going on, on sites such as these, bring you down too much.. like worrying about your "competitors" sixpacks or good looks.

Asking questions like that is a gd thing to do though, it should put your mind at rest that not everyone here is looking for perfection.

I cant stress this enough.. Numbers game pays massively into male failure rates on Fab. You can be all the things I mentioned above, have a six pack and good looks to boot, yet still struggle.

Most messages get lost in the ether due to the sheer amount of shite being sprayed around the Fab fields of fun.

So resilience could be another to add to the list, along with patience.

Making the odd non-sexual friend here in the forum helps, as does paying attention to those who stand out from the crowd in a positive way.

Most people I'm friends with in here are pretty salt if the Earth people and if asked respectfully, would happily help out someone looking to join in the forum fun, or give a little direct advice.

Everything you need to know is written in here somewhere, it's just a case of trawling through it all. Things pop into pace when you start to pay attention and learn from past mistakes.

That's what I think anyway, for what it's worth..

On the contrary - there are a lot of guys who use the forums who find the site more than meets their expectations (and that includes meeting others) they just don't make a lot of noise about it.

Most of them also don't view the site in terms of "success" (which really makes it sound like they're winning a prize as opposed to finding people for mutually agreeable and pleasurable encounters) so again don't feel the need to trumpet it as such or show off about it.
