"I’ve loved this series

Not even a parting kiss!

And poor Mr Stringer fared no better either.

A sad end to a fantastic series

"I loved the series but I was a bit disappointed at the ending. "

Apparently, Jane Austin purists are presently up in arms over what they have described as an ending completely unbefitting for one of her novels (she of course didn’t finish the novel in question) as it ended on such a downbeat note.

However.....all may not be completely lost for there are rumours of a possible second series

Nooo! That would make my sister's prediction correct.

I stuck with it but found the whole thing annoying. I never find a period drama annoying.

Charlotte looked like a petulant 15 year old the whole time and it just didn't feel right. I wanted to recast her every time she was on screen.

No doubt I'll watch the next series as I find it hard to walk away from something I have started.

The big question is of course: Are you rooting for her to go for Sidney or else Mr Stringer?

Stringer will disappoint, having made the choice to remain in Sanditon. Parker will always be dealing with his brother's problems and his wayward ward. She could come to her senses and find a different beau.
