privately me think s, iv nothing against it but the way i see it its a lifestyle choice the individual makes , its not a disease and i wouldnt class it as a serious issue so id say private .

I would disagree with you there, as many who decide to down the route of transgender do feel they are trapped in the wrong body, which leads to mental health issues.

If you class it as just a lifestyle choice I think in puts light on what for some is a serious issue.

Do I think it should be paid for by the NHS, hmmm Im undecided on that one and would depend as it probably does on a case by case investigation.

People get far more tivial and cosmetic preceedures done on the NHS for nothing more than reasons of vanity.

I do think that it is affecting a persons mental state that it is classed as a health issue and they should receive the treatment required to help them become a well person.

ahhh

But then you could also say that someone with a small willy, a big nose, or big boobs, little boobs, big jack and danny etc etc

Would also be affected mentally so would need said treatment on the nhs.

Where do we draw the line ?

I personally think that if its cosmetic, then it should be private.

We have little enough money for those needed far more serious treatments.

but this is my own personal opinion.

Transgender surgery is hardly cosmetic..it is one of the final steps after years of previous treatment to help someone be the person that believe they are.

I think that naything that has an effect on a persons health, then it should be addressed.

Big boobs- back problems etc...NHS

Big boobs, no health problems but reasons of vanity- private

Like I have said it is a case to case basis and too indepth a subject to simplify.

Your OP was should it be private or NHS. My opinion on this particular subject would have to be after considering it, NHS treatment if available. Just my opinion.

with the correct evaluations done... the NHS.

as for cosmetic... defo NHS.. I went to NHS for penis enlargement, was fab...

went back every week for 4 years.. and they even gave me a trailer for the back of the car... to carry it in, as now too big for the car.. just out the back window and into the trailer.. and that me and cock will travel.

think I may stop now.
