Regardless of how good you are at singing or not, what’s one song you feel good singing, that is your tune or you feel reasonably able to pull off or pitch well?

*currently singing Sweet Dreams - Eurythmics*

Hmm. I enjoy singing quite a few. Take Me To The Alley is one I can pull off reasonably well, on my own, in the car . Hey Laura is one I just can't get right, it's about an octave too low in some parts. Both Gregory Porter.

Well we're not going to get a choir going Estella

I also like singing most of Amy Winehouse's Back to Black album and a lot of Beth Hart. I sometimes have a stab at Zadoc the Priest and some of The Messiah but if anyone heard me they would never know that was what it was

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

I sing all the time in my car to whatever album I've put on. I also sing backing vocals in my band, but only on the songs that are in a key that suits my voice, but last week I had to take over lead vocals on a cover of Sunny Afternoon by The Kinks, as our singer had a brain freeze.

I know I can't sing. I'd be the worst contender ever on X Factor!

But to see how bad I really am I recorded myself once.

Sang along to The Wonder Of You by Elvis.

Thought I sounded ok as I sang, hitting the low notes just as Elvis does.

Played the recording back, and yep, I'm shit at singing!

Hefty Hideaway

I don't think I'm being unkind to myself when I say that there is not one song I can sing even half well.

I was blessed with the ability to ruin every song ever composed.

It doesn't stop me though. It is often comedic. My absolute favourite to sing from the bottom of my lungs is 'Elephant Love Medley' I really give the ending some welly. It is a party piece.

"Regardless of how good you are at singing or not, what’s one song you feel good singing, that is your tune or you feel reasonably able to pull off or pitch well?

*currently singing Sweet Dreams - Eurythmics*"

I've a similar range to Ella Fitzgerald (though obviously not her amazing voice) so all her songs are ones I manage to sing ok but 'More than words' is probably my go to east to sing, hard to mess up song.

I honestly do love putting the volume on full blast and belting out a song, putting your all into it, losing yourself in the music. It's great for the soul.

It doesn't happen as often as I'd like. I should make more of an effort.
