I'm sure you'd probably do the same.

Some people find rejecting someone because they're not attracted to their face quite difficult.

Also on here women often get abuse if they reject someone with a polite message so its easier to just block.

I always want to see a face picture first when I start chatting. Attraction must be there. Good body is nice to look at but if I'm not attracted to the facial features then meet is not gonna happen. And just to add, I always meet socially first. So even if they're good looking, if we don't click and there's no chemistry, there won't be any sex.

I know I'm fussy.

Or she has recognised you, or you look like her ex. Blocking is easier for most women as you don’t have to explain or face abuse or have someone trying to convince you. It’s a clear answer but the answer isn’t that you’re ugly.

Another man we would not play with needed two chairs to sit on .... and his wife was ignorant and did not speak we just said politely not for us .... yet they have glowing verification s

However they would not exchange face photos before we met ...and we took a chance but never again

I tend to send a short reply saying not for me, sorry rather than blocking. I would only block if they messaged back saying "why, what's wrong with me"? I wouldn't want to get into a conversation and have to tell someone I don't find them attractive. That makes me feel bad.

Try to let it go Op, move on and find someone who does appreciate you.

So, like men, women are very different, what they're attracted to and not. For me the face is a lot less important than the attitude. For some women the look is what they like whether they're a Viking n tats lover or a fan of dad bods or ripped GQ types it is vastly different from one to another.

Probably the best way to approach the fact that some people will be into you and some won't is to remove your ego from the equation. That way a refusal will not affect you.

Many of times I’ve received messages from guys and been attracted to the body and then they send a face picture and I’m not attracted to them.

In this case she messaged you because she was attracted to your body, you sent a face picture and she was no longer interested. Don’t take it to heart.

I think that is the best way, I have bern knocked back loads of times (shocker I know!) But never once been abusive if someone was like 'no thanks' or even if they just stop communicating. It is very annoying after a while you get ghosted.

I disagree op. Rejection just means that they are not proceeding with things from that point. There are countless reasons why this may be the case. It may be due to attraction but we all have different tastes - some aren't interested in what you may label as good looking. It's realistic that people men are interested in also have limited time to discuss and meet others, so they limit interaction, if things are too much to manage - sometimes bulk inbox message deletes are done.

The only thing to take personally is where you are going to put your attention next. Decide and move on.

Let them block you I chat with a few people regularly on and off that are well above where i punch. Bit we enjoy a bit of banter. We never gonna meet but we still enjoy a bit of banter. I suppose it depends how thirsty you are sometimes I can imagine this can come across quite strong with initial messages and can put people off. I like the banter with people more than anything and it either does or doesnt lead to anything more.
