Have anyone else had a reaction from having there flu jab ? I have a lump on my arm & it’s itchy have put ice on it it’s driving me crazy

Yes. It can be sore for few days. Cold pack is good.

I always get a lump which is itchy and it looks a bit red. It passes quickly enough though

A small slightly temder lump, nothing else, and certainly far less serious than the 'flu.

Completely normal. It's your immune system reacting to the inactivated flu virus.

Pretty sure they tell you this when you're given the vaccination...

If it's that bad, put a bit of hydrocortisone cream on it.

notice you used my username idea lol and the jab is probably the flu virus itself but it contains inactivated flu viruses which act as an antidote side affects can be a fever

First time I got one I felt like I had the flu for a couple of days afterwards but last year I got one and no side effects except the lump.on my arm which went away after a day or two

Ah yeahh because the 1 I didn’t have the jab I thought my time was up never been so ill x
