Hi i seen a lot of pics on here of guys who workout and look good.i like to get into shape too then i put pics up i am not happy with the way i look.i use weights but not doing well.anyone got any tips?

hmm i watched a thing last nightall about that kind of stuff , think it was called male beauty or something like that , i work out when i can be bothered , and like yourslef i like my weights , think it depends on a lot of things , what your lifestyle is like , how commited you want to be to it , are your aims realistic , timescale , money you want to spend on it etc etc , on the weights front i would say start off light and build up , give your body time to recover inbetween workouts , maybe try doing a di9iferent muscle group every other day , try and get into a routine , i.e mon triceps and back , wed biceps and legs etc etc basically dont do too much too soon , maybe try and eat more healthily , depends like i said what your looking for , bulking up requires lots of food , the right proteins , fats sugars etc etc hope it helps and good luck . ohh would try going out a run try and work the heart the bit inbetween the weights like i said hope it helps .

It's more to do with what you do with weights and exercise as to the results you will see, I'm currently bombing weight off and training to have 1 more fight before finally hanging my gloves up again ! there are loads of sites on the net that can give advice but if you want toning and fitness and more of a social life go for Muay Thai or kick boxing to tone all over, I do personal combat training and self defense and it works for the majority of people.

Tip 1: Don't waste your life away wishing you were something else.

Tip 2: Guys who work out lots aren't always top of everyone's list... they may be nice to look at but then again lots of things are nice to look at and looked at is all they get.

Tip 3: Look after your teeth. Nice teeth and a nice smile get you a long way.

Tip 4: Groom well.

My kind of thread

Get your arse to http://stronglifts.com/ and just follow their main program. It's actually fun once you get the techniques nailed down. Diet is a huge part of it as well. Kill ALL: Crisps, Choclate, Sweets from you diet for a month and move to the basics: Porrige oats, whole milk(yes you heard that right), fruit and veg, spaggheti, chicken/ham/tuna plain and live off that for a month.

After you sustained it for a month you can introduce junk back slightly

I have one takeaway type meal on weekends and an odd packet of crisps or chocolate here and there.

In other words you need to completely change your lifestyle if you want to get proper fit. Steroids are not a solution by the way you still need the diet thing going lol

Indeed they are, the GOOD fat: Monounsaturated. They also have a bit of carb and protein in them as well

They are dense in calories due to being mostly fat so keep the hunger away easier while doing good things to your body
