Spam is made in Minnesota USA. Durex are made in China and India. Why do you think these items will be affected by Brexit ?

"So what are you stockpiling ahead of a no-deal Brexit?

I wasn't in the slightest bit worried and stockpiling hadn't entered by head until I went to the doctors on Monday and he gave me 4 months of my prescription. When I asked why he said that they were anticipating shortages if we leave without a deal on 31st October!

North Bucks

My doctor did the same with Lansoprazole giving me a decent amount.

Already struggling to source testosterone at pharmacies.

The food I like from Europe is not really something you can stockpile.

Couple of cases of Veuve will see me through to the other side of this mess. Especially if I have to eat bad food I would rather be tipsy.

Hubby and I did the Jennings brewery tour while we were on holiday in the Lake District. It was very interesting to see that they had boxes of dried hops absolutely everywhere! The guide told us that it’s not normal for them to stockpile like that but they can’t take the risk of having supply issues.

Thank heavens we’ll still have beer

Nothing, panic buying and stockpiling causes shortages. If everyone carries on as mormal there is less likely to be an issue

I'm not stockpiling anything for me but I did do an extra big shop for the foodbank today.

The only comment I will make on the medications is that reasons are complex and obvious if you've been paying attention.

I have a couple of friends on hrt and this last month they were given the pill instead as they couldn’t give them hrt

I’m lucky not on medication but this has always been my worry for those that are rather than any food items.

Each months medication should be on one prescription unless it’s a medication that is dispensed as a multi pack. Each prescription item attracts a dispensing fee paid to the contractor ( gp or pharmacy) if they prescribe more than one month on one prescription they loose the fees for doing so. The £9 you pay (if applicable) goes to the government
