Somewhere In The Ether…

Damn - I hadn’t heard of his passing.

A brilliant actor, so sadly underused.

As a true testament to his talent, he even managed to shine in and elevate movies which were perhaps, shall we say politely, not actually of the best quality (Aligator!).

RIP

Was that the one with Jack Palace as the hunter?

There was a hunter in it but it was played by Henry Silva, an actor who is invariably typecast as a bad guy and/or utter looney. Having said this, in Alligator funnily enough, he wasn’t particularly bad, rather more arrogant but got gulped down nonetheless by the titular creature

There is indeed a resemblance - and a similar typecasting at work in addition considering how many bad guys the late Palance played, from Count Dracula (a great performance to!) to the dastardly Voltan in the joyous cult classic that is, Hawk The Slayer

I watched it as well, massive Breaking Bad fan, so enjoyed it

Loved Robert Forster, a very underrated actor, he was really good in a guilty pleasure film, Delta Force, he played the main bad guy. But his acting alongside Pam Grier in Jackie Brown was brilliant and fully deserved his Oscar nomination
