Fuel madness?

Well, had to get out and about today in our local (ish) area. I passed 7 garages in various towns and villages, and stopped in two, one for fuel, and another later to grab some bits from the shop.

No signs of queues, no hastily scrawled signs saying "fuel rationed", or "no fuel", and no comments on my prompting from the staff saying stuff like "its been manic", or "its only just quietened down".

They have sold more fuel, but people have been very sensible, calm and controlled.

So, my point?

Is it just our little area of South Wales where people are being sensible?

I got caught in the madness having to fill up before a 450 mile drive, decided not to refill the same day. Instead left it for today and everywhere seems quiet, albeit some places running low on diesel.

I'd advise against panic buying, Andy Carrol and Liverpool is a prime example x

Yep its your corner of Wales being Sensible. I drove past my local village garage at 7.45 this morning and saw someone sat in his car waiting for it to open. Daft thing is they sell the most expensive fuel for miles, only 2 miles away is a Shell station open 24 hours no queues

They have announced that the fuel strike is not going ahead!!

So no need for panic buying anymore.
