16 years is a great age

Sorry for your loss but take time to think before you rush into something as a reaction xx

Redditch

That's the one thing with dogs - one day they'll break your heart.... ??

Borrowmydoggie.com will put you in touch with local owners struggling to exercise their own dogs, and maybe that will help you get thru the grieving process

Good luck

Stockport

Yes, in previous relationship, fostered a romanian dog.

Took a bit of work because she was a street dog, and was meant to go back once house trained etc, but well.......

(I really miss my dogs)

Hiding in the shadows

We lived in rented accommodation for a while couldn't have a dog

I volunteered with the Cinnamon Trust, dog walking & short term stays

It's a great charity that helps people struggling to care for their pets x

I’ve got 5 dogs, when these have all eventually died I’ll happily volunteer to do do dog fostering for a local dog charity.

Much as I love having dogs they’re very tying
