Seen in far off places

...that the 'best before date' , printed on the reverse of all crisp packets, falls ALWAYS on a Saturday?

Go check it out for yourselves...

Chaps, a manly GMF handshake is yours if you can prove me wrong

And for the ladies, some GMF loving over a chilled bottle of Veuve is up for grabs ...

Someone told me about this a few weeks ago. We checked every bag in the building. All expire on a Saturday

Let's hope there's a Fab stunner out there who can prove me wrong

A beauty with fingers smelling of freshly consumed Scampi Fries maybe...

Why is the expiry date on a packet of crisps is always on a Saturday? In the manufacturing sites we work on production weeks which start on a Sunday. All product produced in that week will have the same Best Beforedate. As the week ends on the Saturday, the Best Before date will always end on a Saturday.

Means they're not changing expiry dates every day. Some products can't have mixed expiry numbers in the batch. Makes it easier to manage.

They expire on a Saturday cuz that’s when the spuds are picked and delivered to the crisp man who cuts them up and fries them.

In Ireland we don’t put Best before dates we go by smell

I work in a shop and can confirm that not all do. I had some Walkers Ready Salted best before for today. I know as I had to mark them all down to 10p per packet.
