Just watching last nights episode on the player before work.

Floods of tears here, why did I do this before work?

The Sinéad storyline is so sad, and so real for many.

Think everyone’s probably been through it or had close relative lost because of it.

So sad.

Horrible illness.

There and to the left a bit

Not ashamed to admit I had a serious case of wet eye watching it last night - the Sinead storyline has really touched me and I think both the actress that plays her, and the guy that plays Daniel have portrayed the horror of it perfectly.

Corrie is often written off as "just another soap" but storylines like this one elevate it beyond that for me.

Knowing the full back story and being a supporter of the charity involved, all I can say is what a wonderful job corrie has done with this.

Not afraid to say I have been in tears more than once and i haven't even seen last nights yet

Yep, totally agree. I don’t follow it religiously, dip in every now and then. They’ve captured the reality of this brilliantly, imo.

Don’t watch it without tissues close by.

I also read somewhere that the writers were originally going to show Sinead surviving it but that the actress who plays her insisted it be terminal to show the true impact that it has and that it can affect someone very young - she apparently spent a lot of time researching it and spending time with sufferers to find the right way to portray it - so kudos to her for that.

Wow, fair play to her.

Great portrayal by the cast, especially Sinead. Having just lost a close family member, who I was looking after, she knew her time was close. So poignant, saying our goodbyes. I was privileged to be with her when she passed. Well done Corrie
