National mouldy cheese day

The big question is, are you a fan of mouldy cheese and if so which ones and with what drink ?

I'm not talking about mould that shouldn't be growing on it but more like your stilton's, gorgonzola etc

I love cheese but Camembert mouldy ones(unless I just haven't found the right one yet)

I'm going to get a load of mates around for a cheese and wine evening although it won't be as posh as it sounds so any suggestions for my contribution would be appreciated

You beat me to it, I was going to ask if it's available anywhere as we always have an award on our food and/or drinks nights.

I'd win hands down with that beauty, I wonder if I could just drill holes in another cheese and add maggots from the fishing tackle shop ?

Now that's a new one on me, is it a local regional one ?

Where is it on the scale with 1 being no taste and 10 being feck me that's strong taste ?

I would have nice full-bodied reds with blue cheese. Whether that’s Stilton, Roquefort, Cambozola or one of the French soft cheeses like Brie,Camembert, Époisses, Sounaintrain.

Perhaps a variety of French, Italian, Latin full bodies red wines would work well

I’d go with a selection of different biscuits and perhaps a selection of Trackleman’s or Cherry Tree Chutnies
