xhamster blocked on BT?

edinburgh

Starting today xhamster and a few other sexy sites are blocked on my computer.

I get the message, "An error occurred during a connection to xhamster.com. Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s). Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP"

Is anyone else having this problem and can anyone tell me how to correct it, please?

Might be something to do with the porn pass legislation that is supposed to be coming in?

Just call them up and say you can't get on a gambling site.

Have you checked your internet browsers filter settings? Sometimes they can revert to a more vanilla setting for whatever reason.

Sorted!

I was able to bypass the block via a VPN too but I've now sorted the problem. Somehow BT had turned on their Web Protect for me so I've now disabled it and I'm back to normal.

Thanks for the responses, serious and otherwise. XX

Its all to do with the new law. You have to contact your provider and get it removed
