I'm quite a fan of the Tetleys Everyday tea.

Any Taylors of Harrogate fruit tea is also lovely

Not for us at all. Tea is fairly grim.

However if I HAVE to have a cuppa it’s gotta be PG Tips.

In the mornings is got to be a good strong breakfast tea or assam. Picked up a box of Miles tea recently which I'm enjoying as well. I've switched from tea bags to loose tea though as I realised how slowly tea bags rot away in the compost bin.

Assam is very nice and hard to go wrong with for a good strong brew. Russian Caravan is great for something a bit different, very smoky tasting, no milk or sugar with it. Ceylon is lovely for something a bit milder if I don't fancy a strong cuppa like maybe before bed. Also very partial to green tea with peppermint or rapsberry.

Seen the advert for coffee bags? They talk about them like its a groundbreaking idea. I know for a fact they tried them in the early eighties and they never caught on. Perhaps someone has a warehouse full theyre trying to flog.

I'm not imagining it then! I remember my dad getting a box of them and you had to double up just to get a decent brew.

I well remember the coffee bags. Thought all my dreams had come true as I'm a coffee addict but apart from the fact that they tasted awful they were actually a lot more mucking about.

Does anyone remember the "instant tea" that was invented? Oh my god that was horrible

Army rations have a form of instant tea. After a route march and freezing your nads in a bivvy, it tastes quite nice. Made a coffee substitute from dandelion root as well.
