How long did it take you to get your first veri and how important are they on a profile?

On my first profile it took a few months but I also didn't go to any clubs or socials for a long while. I'd say that they're very important for a guy as it helps show you're not going to ghost people or not show up.

Not long. I don't collect them and rarely read them on other's profiles. I have my own brain and don't need others comments to help make my mind up.

About 11 months, I recon its more important to have them then to show them but I suppose it depends on how you're using the site

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I've seen many proliles stating that they won't reply to men who haven't got verification meets on the profile.

What annoyed me about it though.. Was the ones who assumed I had to intention of meeting, because I had no veris for months.

It's not that easy for men though.

I like to display the MLS veris but everything else is private. I like to read veris and I love mine. Like little snippets of memories

I do like looking back on them for the memories myself, I also look at the ones I've sent

I rarely leave one from a 1:1 social meet anymore

I'm not fussed if I don't get one either

I've been here long enough, I don't need them and as I've found they often cause more harm than good

My first profile was set up for me and verified by him straight away. I deleted it in horror

Then I snuck back on a new profile and had a social with someone who didn't veri me then a few lovely meets with other unverified folk so probably took a month or so.

I agree with the harm statement. I'm not playing the 'veri game' as people often use them as a stick to beat you with or collect them.

Getting your first one does carry a degree of value though as people can see that you're genuine.

Congratulations OP, I remember telling you when you were 2 weeks in that it would take about 6 months...

Since then I've got a lot more verys.

And all social only.
