In your work? I'm currently digging a stream bed by hand..machinery outta question..my wellies are full of water..I'm using all my flexibiliary to get into the stream. It's cold and wet..but I'm so happy love what you do, do what you love..today I'm listening only to the stream and waterfalls, birds and trees swaying in the breeze and once done, as always I ll hate giving an invoice..partly cos I HATE MONEY and partly because I have loved the work and my companions..nature.. where I'm at home..I struggle understanding people but understand nature thoroughly as she has given me shelter, warmth and peace..whatabout you?

I absolutely love mine. It caters to my natural curiosity and fascination with society, it affords me wonderful opportunities and and gives me the chance to do something interesting with my days. The pay isn't too bad either.

No... There's not a thing that springs to mind that I can honestly say I enjoy.

Sadly I'm too embedded into the industry and the income level that a change of direction is not really possible.

Sadly just a means to an end.

I envy anyone who gets out of bed and can't wait to get their working day started!

I love and loathe it equally.

I get job satisfaction when I see people smiling, when they thank me for being awesome.

I dislike feeling I'm ripping people off with the price of things I can't control and witnessing sides of humans I'd rather not see.

I work in a call centre. The other day, my first 3 calls of the day consisted on one person who was polite, one who called me a dumb cunt and another who told me to go fuck myself. Would that make you happy?

After 2 years of this, I can no longer tolerate the constant stream of abuse, I’m currently signed off sick by my doctor for work related stress and anxiety. I’m looking for another job

Tree platform, built shelters..basically rough but that's what I do when I vacate a living for whatever reason, I erase it completely and go back to nature to restock and reboot...the thing with living off grid, especially these days is its not easy to do completely..if you don't then have a home address you will find big issues with all kinds of day to day living..you ll be surprised. .the powers that be don t like off grid...I have a lifetime of learning how to live off the land in isolation and, when needed a tough discipline of myself...a person needs to really think hard before going totally off grid . This is not aimed specifically at you it is generalised..I ve probably lived half my life at absolute basic and half in comfort but always always around nature

I loved my job but had to leave it to find a job that paid more. I hated it.

Now my job is ok,sometimes I get to make a difference. There's a bit of flexibility in what I do each day and the people are nice enough.

It doesn't pay enough but I'm not sure any job really does so I still have to have a 2nd job on top. I'm also only there on a fixed term basis so who knows what could happen next. I am trying to create the right role for myself though

First of all for me my focus is my time outside of the workplace, not in it. I'm not bothered so much about how enjoyable my work is, more what time out of work I get and the ability to earn enough cash to really enjoy that free time. And in that respect my work is very good.

Sometimes the hours are antisocial and shifts can drag. But I'm left to do my job in peace without interference. I work a four day week and make a very good wage. Plus sometimes it is cool with some bizarre challenges. Although genrally mundane I really earn my money when things go wrong. Plus the trade union and the solidarity we have in my industry protects our good terms and condition and ensures we always have a say in our working environment.

Thank you.

I’ve been in for a meeting with my manager today. They have started the scoping process to identify any other roles within the business which might be suitable for me. We’ve also agreed that in the short term, because I can’t go back to my old role, I will go back to work on Monday working in the warehouse.

I’m happy that for now, a compromise has been reached
