I hardly reply to messages anymore but I kinda feel for newbies.

Are you more likely to message a newbie back more so than a seasoned fabster.

I do sometimes, if they come across well. I knock them back mainly but I think I feel sympathy for them.

The best times I've had here have been with newbie types. Hardened fabbers tend to be harder work, a tad lazy and demanding and place more value on their fab status than the individual, personal exchange in my limited experience.....

Each to their own though, I just think its nice to meet someone who's not been through the fab mill..... then again I'm not meeting....

But, in answer to your question - in my eyes I'm in that transition period twixt newbie and oldie. I get quite a lot of profile views nowadays, but still get ignored in the main.

Depends what they put in their message. If they're respectful and come across well I'll reply, if not they get the same as others. If they start out all baulchy and "the big I am" then I'll knock them down a peg or 2 and show them the error of their ways.

I'm fucking terrible at messages though, sometimes I think I've replied to people and when I look I've not. Other times I'll start replying, need a shit and then open another window to play solitaire or something. I'll open fab in yet another window, so on and so forth and 4 days later there's the start of the message I began writing behind 18 open windows on my phone and an empty McDonalds wrapper

"Depends what they put in their message. If they're respectful and come across well I'll reply, if not they get the same as others. If they start out all baulchy and "the big I am" then I'll knock them down a peg or 2 and show them the error of their ways.

I'm fucking terrible at messages though, sometimes I think I've replied to people and when I look I've not. Other times I'll start replying, need a shit and then open another window to play solitaire or something. I find a lot of newbie guys are serial repeaters , creating a profile for a day or two and wanting access to private pics etc they do the chat but then disappear for a few weeks and return , I've no time for them so therefore my filters are set so they can't message me

Hubby usually arranges meets with couples. My heart sinks when I realise they’re newbie as it never goes anywhere. They’re eager to chat and ask questions. Then off they go with others or disappear! Always the same. Still I get convinced it will be different this time and it never is!
