They say at the end of our days it is the things we didn't do that we regret,

not those that we did.

Do you think that's true?

I'm not sure about the end of our days. I have plenty of stuff that I did and didnt do that I regret.

No, I don't. Most regrets can be looked at both ways.

I’m not sure if it’s true but I definitely think it’s something to aim for; only regret the things that you don’t do, not the things that you do

There and to the left a bit

I think that there is something to be said for both - regretting things you have done, and regretting not seizing an opportunity when it presented itself - that said I also think there's a lot to be said for not regretting things as they are what made you the person you are now, and what gave you the life lessons to become that person.

So maybe it's a mash up of all three in some ways

No, I think we regret wrongs that we've done, hurting people and chances we didn't take, not telling people how we feel etc then realising we may never get to tell them.

Missed opportunities ya know. But at the same time we must remember we missed them for a reason and at the time that reason was valid to us so not to be too hard on ourselves.

I'm not sure I'm old enough to know yet.

My big regrets so far have been about not being true to myself and my values.

It's very true in my humble opinion.

I learn from my mistakes so I dont really regret the things I've done.

There are loads of things I regret not doing though.

I think things happen for a reason and what’s meant to be will be so don’t really have regrets.

Sometimes think I shouldn’t have been as supportive to my ex for 5 years after we split as he technically threw is back in my face but at least my kids can see I did try

When I didn’t go for a specific job then wished I had, a better one came my way shortly after

I think that is a great way of looking at it. We all make mistakes,.learn from them and move on.

I strongly believe regrets are damaging and pointless unless you can change the outcome

There is one thing I regret doing as for things I haven’t done they are simply choices based on priorities so I won’t regret something I haven’t done, unless something changes in my life drastically and I stop doing things I really want to do.
