Would you let a friend dress you in their idea of what would look good on you? (assuming that this friend doesn't put you in anything inappropriate for your gender expression or in anything they thought looked bad. And nothing permanent or difficult to change)

What do you think might change about your outfit/appearance?

Hard to believe since I'm such a photo tart on here , but I very rarely show any cleavage, or wear anything revealing at all to be honest. My sister is always trying to get me in lower, shorter, tighter things but I feel silly when I try them.

I'd happily give them the reins.

They'd probably sort my hair and make up out, and give me less of a dragged through the hedge backwards look. I'll try any clothes tho.

I'd be interested to see what others would dress me in for sure - my "style" tends to be jeans/shorts and t-shirt/shirt most of the time so nothing overly stylish, so someone elses interpretation of how I should look would be interesting.

When I was younger my cousins would often buy me clothes for my birthday and invariably picked something I wouldn't have chosen for myself but it usually worked.

I would trust a few wonderful friends to do so. Someone like Incandescent because she's direct but kind with it and with a good sense of style. I asked what she'd do out of curiosity!

My hair would go to it's natural mass of curls and she'd put me in one of those 1940s tailored dresses with a slightly flared skirt and t bar shoes.

I can be anything you want me to be. I'm comfortable in welly boots or a ballroom gown. I dress for my age and dont wear revealing clothes. But yes I'd let someone open my eyes to change why not.

No, my friends are very different to me when it comes to style and colour choice.

Mr N on the other hand frequently suggests styles that I wouldn't have dreamt of and 9/10 times I find I like his suggestion.

Definitely. I have my own range but it's fun and potentially a good learning experience to experiment with others' tastes and ideas. It's easy to get blinkered and form habits too easily. I sometimes do a month of alternative styling, to see what's worth continuing with. Comfort and impact are my norms but I do endure some discomfort at times, especially with shoes

Used to do this all the time.

Get taken shopping by my fem friends and told to pick things out for them as I had a less self critical eye and actually chose stuff that looked good on them.

Nope, I wouldn't let anyone try to change my style, not unless it was just for a laugh.

I'm a rockabilly, so go for the 50's fashion whenever possible.

Jeans always have turn ups. I never wear trainers, it's always baseball boots or biker boots. On a night out, smart suits 50's style if I can.

My wardrobe is massively varied anyway, as I dress according to my mood and the occasion.

I suspect the main change would be makeup, since I normally only bother for a night out or special occasion.

I would be up for this, just to see what people come up with. I like my style, but it is always evolving, so it might bring on the next stage. Now if it was my kids they would make it more conservative... I have items of clothing I am not allowed to wear out in public with them.

yes, if only for shits n giggles, chances are I'd stick to ky own dress sense (or lack thereof) in the long run.

Not many women like my baggy Jean's surfer/skater wear look if I'm honest. They'd prefer me suited and booted. Tough shhhiiiiiyt
