"In short, yes. Frankly there's so much about his presidency that pisses all over the history and solemnity of it that it's just commonplace and its become a joke in itself. 'oh he's launched another racist tirade at members of congress' 'whoops, another abuse of power' 'oh dear, another misogynistic tweet from the most powerful man on earth' I'm just glad that our leader isn't a moron with stupid hair, a flair for misrepresentation and chicanery with an urge to watch the world burn... Oh fuck! "

It's not like his followers will follow his lead/ suggestions and attack people or do anything badder like that.

"Some of the stuff he comes out with makes me feel like I'm living in some kind of alternative reality. If he breaks the rules then he should be treated like anyone else who breaks the rules. One hopes that one day he'll be hoisted by his own petard. Had to chuckle about Nickleback claiming copyright over content he used in one of his recent missives, resulting in the video being taken down . I'm just thankful he's not on Instagram! "If someone is putting the safety of others at risk, they should be banned, warned or restricted. "The illiberal left will not allow anything of anyone that does not fit in with their narrow Agenda. There is room for all. It's like so called no platforming at university debating society. Everyone should have a voice even if we don't agree with it." I agree with your point on this. I will also say though that freedom of speech isn't the same as immunity from consequences. Yes, he can say what he likes but if it's racist, sexist, any other 'ist' or just plain stupid, he deserves every inch of vilification which he receives.

I think he is harshly treated by the media who never praise his achievments. An example is his use of the term 'lynch mob' describing the impeachment proceedings against him. Outraged from the press yet Bill Clinton used pretty much the same words. As for vetting immigrants, the same people who criticise him will be the first to blame the security services if something goes wrong. I just wish one of our politicians would have his balls. Dennis Skinner is one of the few I admire for saying his piece. Every other MP plays the let's offend as few people as possible to get elected game.

To say that all conservatives should be locked up could be construed as just that to some people. I have a novel idea. Listen to the conservatives and debate with them and win by logical arguement ..
