To be honest there is nothing holding a person back from being who they want to be ... just the state of mind .. anyone can achieve anything with the right attitude

Weird.. just had this exact conversation with someone!

I’m completely happy with who I am. But I’m fearful of things outside my control.

Confidence, self esteem, anxiety and self consciousness are holding me back from where I would like to be in life.

Over the past few years I have trying my best to become a better person and feel like I have come along way compared to how I used to be. I feel like the next step is changing my current position and where I am in life.

Self belief, fear of failure, finances.

Daft as it may sound I'd worry about the staff I left behind if I left my job. I'm a mother figure, best friend, agony aunt to most. I'm a mentor and I don't even realise it half the time. Without me there picking up the pieces and supporting and believing in them I know it would be a far less pleasant place for them to work. When the time is right I'll move on.

Hiding in the shadows

Too many emotional scars, which until recently I thought I'd dealt with.

A few events have reopened old wounds & taken me back to somewhere I didn't want to go.

But as a good friend reminded me earlier.

I climbed out of that hole once before.

I can, and will do it again.
