If I can dream is an absolute gem.

Written at the height of the civil rights movement, the anti Vietnam War riots, the assassinations...

There's hope in that song:

Out there in the dark,

There's a beckoning candle,

While I can dream...........

I'm a Rockabilly. I love all kinds of rock 'n' roll, but there will only ever be one King!

I love his early stuff but as he matured his voice seemed to improve. Such a powerfull singer.

Nice choice. I love the hope in the haunting.

Brought up on Elvia and rock n roll , my dad loved him so much ! The year before my dad died I took him to see Ben Portsmouth a tribute act who has a huge following and won competitions in Memphis , he was superb!

My fav sock is Pocketful of Rainbows from GI Blues which is my favourite Elvia film x

My brother is a massive Elvis fan, we just had his wife's funeral on Tuesday and we played ' So close, yet so far (from Paradise). Words very poignant, wept all the way through it.

Take a listen to some of the gospel songs

A singer doing what he loves with passion feeling a amazing vocals

Find a live version of How Great Thou Art probably from the last recorded concert

Most everything else had gone but the voice was still there

I went to an Elvis concert a few years back. The Jordanairs were there live with footage of Elvis playing on a big screen.

It got a bit emotional in places.

That voice!
