Nuttin today I'm afraid Went to the quacks this morning looking for good news and it was all a bit 'flat' really. Then had to spend cash on stuff for going to hospital on Monday

Work was a bit dull too... just contemplating an early night wih an audio book to fall asleep to.

Hopefully I'll be in a better mood tomorrow and actually get something positive done

Good luck for monday then xx

I took a big bouquet of flowers and a nice bottle of red to a friend who is leaving work (I've been off since the beginning of December so not seen her much) I also spent the afternoon with my best friend and we went shopping, bought her a necklace and earring set for her wedding day (to match the shoes I bought her the other week) and got myself a pair of shoes and a shrug to wear on her special day as well as a bargain dress to go to S3cr3ts in on a non party night!

In reference to the soldier to soldier bracelet - the money goes to Help for Heroes - a well known charity that actually has more money than it knows what to do with. I work for the army so have dealings with them and several other charities helping servicemen both past and present. I've stopped directly supporting Help for Heroes and go for the Army Benevolent fund (the soldiers charity) they need money far more than Help for Heroes - just my opinion (please don't shout at me )

Took on a new worker who had been unemployed for Eighteen months and thought (wrongly) that at 56 she was only good for the scrapheap.....

Might stick with more mature workers in the future as the Four young single mums I had in for interview this week were all as much use as a chocolate teapot....they really didn't want to work and it showed a mile off.

When I was a young lad I used to take people out fishing off Hopes Nose (Torquay)

We used to fill sprats bellies with English mustard to get rid of the seagulls following the boat....

Don't know if pork pies are bad for swans but we don't eat them and my mother always comes round with pork pies for the cat...

can't stand cats ether but I promised my boy when he could write his name I would get him the cat he always wanted...

cats gone off pork pies, so we thought swans would like them...

Suprising how big swans are up close, I paid £59 for my turkey this Xmas and I won't be next year looking at those scrummy swans...lol
