Daft question, but what constitutes 'hot'. Do warm pasties still have the VAT applied?

little house on the praire

If you want a sensible answer, i would say it depends if they are in a hot cabinet or not. Some supermarkets have pies and pasties in hot cabinets so i would assume they where vat.

If you went to the bakery section and the pasties where still warm as they had just come from the oven i would assume they wouldnt be vat. But thats just my thoughts
