Pretty much, get chatting and after a while ask if they fancy being friends for ever and ever and then swap numbers out, grab coffee, fondle on the couch and get nekkid.

If you are unsure then ask first and respect the other person's decision. We have done that and had yesses and nos, but checking first has kept things respectful.
