Think wooden ones are handier, plastic ones dry out with the sun and break real easy

Wooden ones are more environmentally-friendly and don't break as easily, but over time (especially if they are exposed to a lot of moisture) can leave marks on fabric.

Some of mine are wooden, some are plastic. The wooden ones come apart easier I find, but I like the array of colours you get with plastic ones

I usually keep the pegs when I pinch knickers off washing lines, iv got loads of pegs

I use stainless Steel pegs as they don't leave marks on your clothes and don't brake easily
