I try post very honest pics, with lumps/bumps etc on show but there's still a bit of editing going on! What've you cut out or hidden?

For starters I have a massive bruise on my right boob in my profile pic, I can barely walk in any of the shoes and my teacup is empty.

I don't think my phone does blurring or I'd have used it to hide tattoos! Might just be me though as I'm not very good with this stuff!

Cropping is all I meant really, or props, I don't know how to do anything fancier than that ha! I love imagining what's going on in the background of people's pics though, or what was happening at the time. I should get a life really

Just to clarify, I'm not talking about photo-shopping what is posted. I agree that's me tal if you're looking to actually meet. I'm just awake and nosy, and wondering about the embarrassing bits folk snip off the pics

I crop to hide identifiable tattoos and anything that identifies my house/room etc. Other than that what you see us what you get.

I am really not photogenic so need all the help I can get..

Having said that my pics are in 2 categories- normal/cropped or a little bit more artistic where I change the colour scheme and the contrast to make the lighting look a bit more dramatic. They can be fun to do and only take a few minutes once you get the hang of it.

However I draw the line at those silly filters. People do not look cute with kitten ears or puppy noses. Just stop it.

I have always wanted to do those! No idea how they are done

It's actually built into my phone (Huawei) you just go into a pic - edit - splash, then click the bit you want to stay in colour. I can't wait to fiddle with it

I took a side on photo yesterday. You can’t see my stretch marks or my lil pouch. I’m not hiding them, I love my body. They just aren’t in the photo. I’m sure whenever I have a spare five minutes that are genuinely free time (and not spent napping or doing household chores that I’m neglecting) I’ll take an ‘honest’ photo.

Arms are the bane of my life, even in normal non-fab pics I don't know what to do with them that doesn't look awkward! So yeah, they get chopped a lot.

I only take pics when I'm at my best that way there's no need to hide unmanicured nails for example. I don't normally feel like taking pics when I'm below par. Hence why I haven't taken any new ones for ages.

I use black and white filters sometimes blurring around the edges or to cover my tatt. The rest is just clever camera angles and lots of pics taken in order to get a photo I think is okay to put up. But basically the pics are me and what I'm like. I do try and hide my stomach as much as I can as I hate it.

I don't crop or edit anything my photos are the true me in slightly better angles to hide the bad bits but have stated body type so never have any issues

Oooooh I did one black and white with red nails but that's the only one

When I look at photos I always expect that they are going to show the person at their best. Maybe a bit of blurring, good angles, breathing in ect...

On the whole most people I have met have been a good representation of their pics but there has been a couple of exeptions.

Yeah I've generally found the reality to be better than pics on meeting, so fingers crossed that keeps up!

Some folk did get the wrong end of the stick and think I was talking about misrepresentation here. Really I was just having a chuckle over the super ordinary or semi-ridiculous things you'd see if you zoomed out on everyone's sex bomb pics. Hairy legs, messy hair, chipped nails. I just like it as it makes people more accessible when you aren't thinking everyone's walking around like they've just walked off a catwalk 24/7, and people who can laugh a bit at themselves are fun
