For me, the situation around Thomas Crook is highlighting something.

If I went on holiday, I would use booking dot something to pay for my hotel. I'd use kayak to work out a cheap flight there & back. I'd use public transport to get from the airport to my hotel.

It's not rocket science.

And if I was in one of those moods, I would research my hotel on booking. I'd then contact the hotel direct to ask if they could offer me the same standard of accommodation for the same price if I book directly with them.

Sadly, in our modern world, too many people are relying on the apprentice of Warburtons or Hovis to walk up that bloody steep hill every morning so that we can have a half loaf with a long sell by date.
