I'm a great believer that music feeds the soul and think that if music doesn't make you want to dance or at least click your fingers and tap your feet you're missing out on something.

What's your dancing style, are you Dad dancing, Mum dancing or Professionally trained ?

Are you first on the dance floor or do you sit in the corner wondering what people would think if you looked awful ?

I find most people are away with there own thoughts to worry about what others are doing

I dance all the time in my house.

In public I tend to have to be dragged to the dancefloor but I quite like it once I'm there.

I'm a lot more reserved when dancing in public, I've injured myself many times while dancing at home

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

I'm always the first on the dance floor in a social setting and often one of the last to leave. It's great fun and very liberating.

I love argentine tango but sadly haven't practiced in a while as dance partner hasn't been well

Always happy to own the dance floor lol. I am a happy solo dancer. Hate when people try to get too close.

I used to teach modern jive and loved to dance. Less so since I seriously hurt my back, bit I'm building my strength back up so should be able to hit the floor more soon

I totally agree..I m first on dance floor, normally quiet corner if dancing solo as I mish mash my dance styles which are jive, blues, argentine but my favourite is contemporary...so expressive...put any musical sound on and I will dance..I ve even pap danced..am hoping to try pone in winter..did a bit on aerial silks last year not had time to further it recently...dance and music saved my ass..I owe it my life

We both dance. Not professionally trained but we have (especially Alexis) been known to grace a few shows in our time.

In the middle

I love dancing, I even dance at work I don’t have a style apart from my own but I can jive and do a bit of northern soul, basically once the music starts I am there

"Self conscious and dreadful "

Bad dancing is always 1000x better than no dancing and as the saying goes "wave your hands in the air like you just don't care"

A few sniggers will only come from the awkward people staring at their iPhones while you'll fell on top of the world

I usually stand on the side and pretend I have a shred of dignity

?

If it's music I like then I'm on the dancefloor, even if i'm on my own...if I don't like the music then I'm more likely to be found at the bar.

I also do burlesque, and I love the thrill of performing on stage

Free world so that's your choice and if you don't want to dance I fully understand that

But if you do want to dance but are worried about retaining your dignity I'd say your worrying is misplaced.

Worst bit is that first step onto the dance floor and you could go in the middle where only other dancers will see you and they won't care in the slightest, it's the none dancers that criticise dancers

I love to dance and find it impossible to be still if there's music playing that I like.

Cal doesn't dance, he sings and taps along.

I love singing and dancing and am not good at either. Recently joined a choir and started burlesque dancing.

Love a good night out with plenty of dancing, d*unk or sober (although I probably always look d*unk when dancing!)
