You had a day off?

Now i don't mean a day off work, but you have decorated the kitchen, had a spring clean, fixed the shower... i mean a proper day off. Relaxing, no chores, just some you time?

Sarah xx

Can't remember - some time last November ?

I work mon to fri and am generally 'on call' with work at wkends.

The odd wkends I do get off, I tend to busy myself as I know they don't happen too often.

I'm disappointed in myself actually - I have failed to take 80% of my holiday accruals this year so will lose 3 weeks out of the 5 I am entitled to.

Luckily I have been allowed to cash one week in.

Won't be doing that again this year !

every second weekend ... this weekend it was 'Another Place' at Crosby followed by listening to the Bullfrogs at night time in Formby on Saturday and then sledging, football and picnicing in the dunes between St Annes and Blackpool on Sunday(gonna be so bored when my boys get sick of this kind of thing)... DIY can wait!!

I own my own business so even on a "day off I still receive emails or phonecalls. But hey, the trade off makes it worth while, even in a recession.

little house on the praire

I have a lot of free time, but i dont have a day where i do completely nothing.

I would say i havent done anything to day but ive cleaned the kitchen and wiped downstairs paintwork down and done a weeks shop.

I dont really class everyday stuff as chores.

Last time i did some serious hard work i cant remember when
