Den of Iniquity

My little house guest the Spider and a Daddy Long Legs yesterday .

A large Mr Long Legs has now become a week long lunch for my freeloading house guest Mr Spider.

I never intentionally kill any creatures ever , even the numerous bugs that fly in my kitchen are dealt with by my ruthless Terrier .

But is there a more pointless creature than a Daddy Long Legs ?? Are they just food for Spiders or do they have an important role in the biodiversity of our great Planet??

Apparently I'm not 100% correct .

There is an actual Spider called a Daddy Long Legs , it's just most people call the slow arse flying thingies by that name .

Now I've been educated

OP. Do you know what they contribute?

I thought wasps did little until I read up on them. They do polinate which I thought was bee only territory

Yes so I believe. Apparently certain geographical areas call them by different names . Round my way they're called Daddy Long Legs
