After you brush your teeth, do you rinse out the excess toothpaste with water? Or do you leave it there?

Gargle and rinse i have zero fillings and all my teeth. Last time i was at the dentist, she seemed a little disappointed that my teeth didn't require any work. She then asked if she could give them a clean. I declined, no need for a clean, they're spotless

My dentist had a right go at me for using mouthwash after brushing.. she says you need to leave it for half an hour or the fluoride in the toothpaste gets washed out and has no effect. Who has time for that shit in the morning?

Then the hygienist poked me in the mouth for several minutes with sharp implements before drawing blood then blaming me for not flossing 4 times a day.. ffs, I work silly shifts. When I stagger in at 4am dead on my feet I'm not thinking about flossing.. I barely remember getting undressed..

I got told the same about leaving it for 30 min before using mouthwash by my hygienist too

Spit it out but the hygienist told me to brush my teeth with a dry toothbrush then put the toothpaste on and leave it. I tried it and didn't like it.

I stopped with the mouthwash after reading it can be a cause of mouth cancer, tbh tho I hated the taste anyway. Now I brush and don't rinse.

Mouthwash then put a blob of paste back Into mouth and rub it around my teeth with my tongue.

This can also be done before oral

Mouthwash with listerine for 30 seconds, so it burns the top layet of skin away, gargle, then spit or swallow depending on how rock and roll i am feeling!
