I thought I had aged 20 and aged 27, well I did love those people but looking back on what I've learned it wasn't a healthy love.

Now I know I have.... aged 40.

On a mooch

23-28

20 years on he made contact again, we met a few times, laughter but also too many tears. So now we talk and checkin on each other occasionally.

Both still love each other but won’t be together, the end was too painful and I’m a stubborn mare (as he knows) once I’ve made my mind up, there’s no changing it.... never look back only forwards

Yes... not until I was 42 though.

Thought I was in love with my ex husband, but soon realised I was in love, with the thought of being in love.

Yes, her laugh and smile. So much so, I’d want to make her happy all the time. Now she’s happy with someone else and I love her enough to be happy for her. She’ll always be in my heart and I have the memories.

17 when I met my ex husband and first love (in every way) but wasn’t to last. Don’t regret it though as have two amazing daughters.

Then hit me like a tonne of bricks last Feb, when I realised that it was more than just physical attraction with Mr. Meeting him in 2017, on here, he was to be only a fuck, nothing more, like any other guy I met, but the heart doesn’t always listen to the “only use Fab for fun” lectures you give yourself. Definitely don’t regret loving him. Viv xx

I have been in several long term relationships with about 3 women, I have no children, but I have been in what I would classify as a loving environment with each and every one of them.

There is a reason that we are no longer together, and I still love all of them (apart from the one that took me for £80K

I have felt love in many relationships an obviusly not all in a sexual way. Even in the intimate relationships, not all are always great an not always bad (in my experience) as even the bad ones have moments of true love in them. Between 15yrs and 47yrs I've had 4 serious relationships covering 22yrs of that time, one of wich being married 10yrs.

Yes I have felt Love, and to have any kind of good swing life, you need that person with you on the same wavelength.

Don't get me started on Love ?

Too many people these days think it's an on/off switch.

If you really felt it you would never let it go. Ever.

I felt it, she says she felt it.I still feel it but her switch went to off ...

I’ve had 5 long relationships and felt love in each one. The last one was 10 years and we are still great friends and still have a lot of love for each other. I’ve have recently met someone from here and I would say it’s slowly getting that way. It’s a great feeling when you know.

Love for what Op?

Parents, pet, children, car, a significant other?

All of them can bring a tear to the eye and all can feel devestating when no longer in your life.

Yes, proper love with my ex, the mother of my child, there was something so very different in how I felt about her, she got me, made me tick. Then it all went to shit.
