I prefer rib eye and for the best flavour they are best cooked well done (about 8 minutes).

You know I could do both, right?

But no, I didn’t cook for him - we went out for lunch (with said sprog)

You have a better stomach than me but if you are cooking it it has to be rare to medium rare.

Ribeye or fillet.

Medium rare, home made peppercorn sauce (spicy), thick, twice cooked chips (crunchy), griddled mushrooms, garden peas with a dash of mint.

Ice cold beer on the side.

That seems a bit specific! How do you know that it's 21 days matured though and does it make any difference?

I've heard of matured whisky and cheese, but never steak?

"I prefer rib eye and for the best flavour they are best cooked well done (about 8 minutes)."

I also prefer ribeye, but seared in a pan or on a griddle on high heat, or bbq'ed, and cooked medium rare to medium.

Aging of steak is essential, minimum of 21 days, 28 preferably. In a restaurant you’re relying on the accuracy of the menu, in a shop it’ll tell you on the packaging.

For me, medium-rare ribeye and chips. Lots of seasoning and finished in butter Mr.

Blue if the restaurant can do it properly, if not I have to settle for rare. With chunky chips and grilled mushrooms. I refuse to spoil a good steak by pouring sauce on it.

Camberley occasionally doncaster

Somewhere between blue and rare for me. Prefer a good rib eye for flavour. Runner with salt, pepper, garlic and chilli.

Add some garlic and chilli potato wedges, some butter fried mushrooms and some roast asparagus.
