"I'm not on hrt,I'm not allowed due to having cancer in the past, however I've had lumps in my breasts and they have turned out to be 'fatty lumps '. It's probably nothing to worry about but worth getting checked out. " I am getting it checked asap the appointment should be fairly rapid but it's stopping the hrt that's really bothering me. I've ever the optimist about the lump. I hope that you are now well..what did you do instead of the hrt x

"Sorry I can’t say I have, I know it’s daft to say not to worry but most breast lumps are benign. I do worry about the increased risk of breast cancer but again it’s a very small risk. I hope things go well for you, and hopefully you’ll get in the clinic and cleared soon x " I know it's only a small risk and thanks I hope so too x

"no experience but with something like this I'd trust the doctor. I hope and indeed trust that you will be back on HRT soon " He wouldn't even have mentioned taking hrt if I hadn't asked for more. I've still got my patch on, due to change it tomorrow..if I do. I'm been googling stuff but it's not helping x

"My mum had a mammogram over 20 years ago. They found a lump and when they biopsied it, they discovered it was a very aggressive form of cancer. After surgery and some radiotherapy she was finally given the all clear. Hopefully it won’t be so serious for you, but Mum is still going strong and I am so thankful it was picked up early." That's good news I'm glad mom is going strong and finally got the all clear x

"I know that if it’s a fast growing malignancy issue that it feeds off of oestrogen. That’s why they don’t want you to have it, it could cause it to grow more rapidly on the slip chance that it is that. Fingers crossed that it isn’t and you’ll be right and back to normal ASAP. - Mrs " This is my worry...how fast I ask myself and will a month of more hrt really make any difference...but you just don't know do you . That's me just messing with my own head because I am so reluctant to stop the hrt.. In reality I suppose their is no choice x

I admit that I trust doctors less and less now, I've been given so much conflicting information that I tend to make my own mind up as far as possible. However with something like this I think I'd stop the HRT.

"I’m unable to take HRT because of a strong family history of breast cancer. I’m now a menopausal woman and I don’t take anything for the symptoms. I do think that the menopause is one of the best kept secrets though. I don’t know much about HRT but how long does it stay in your system? Are you likely to feel any menopausal symptoms in a month? I don’t know enough to help unfortunately. I hope everything goes well for you. I have had two recent scares, it’s never easy x " 2 scares jeez that isn't easy and I hope all is well and stays well for you. And menopause well that is something else too. I know not life threatening but life destroying (or can feel like it) for some. I think the symptoms will be back very soon once the hrt has been been stopped.x
