Some guys use a ripped gym physique as their only selling point to me, but if I dont like the face, I'm not having sex with them.

I’ve gone with all different types of bodies.

Some big, some curvy, some petite, some Gym fit. No preference.

I’m not going to write someone off because they aren’t my ‘type’

But if you were to take the women I have been with & dropped them into a pool - the majority of them are considered curvy? - I love me some thighs (ear warmers)

Given that it immediately followed my previous post it's a fair assumption it was in response to it and I can assure you there's nothing "bollocks" about it - SC put it perfectly when she said that with maturity comes a realisation that body type alone doesn't make for attraction - the whole package does and for me the greater part of that package is finding a meeting of minds and personality that matches.

Yes of course physicality comes into it to some degree but if you don't find someones personality attractive then they could have the most conventionally beautiful body in the world and you'd still not be attracted to them.

To give an example - Naomi Campbell is (or was a few years back) considered one of the most beautiful women in the world - but I find her personality pretty ugly and therefore find no attraction to her whatsoever.

Men - strong, muscular build, not ripped with a 6 pack though...too intimdating.

Women- curves or strong lean muscular types. Again not mega gym types for the same reason.

I'm attracted to who I am attracted to and that always comes down to personality regardless of body type - it really is quite simple - and I also don't think it's shallow if you do have a specific body type you prefer either as I said further up we all like and are attracted to different things which is what makes us individuals.

I didn't say that physical attraction isn't part of it though, as I said further up that of course comes into it - I just don't have a *specific* body type that attracts me, which is what the OP was asking - I can find physical attraction in many different body types, but if the personality isn't there to attract me also then there's no overall attraction

It's absolutely possible - call me a liar as much as you like but I honestly don't have a preferred body type, hair colour, eye colour etc.

So you do get physically attracted to woman then and I suppose there are certain features that make them attractive to you ? There you have a preference..... OMG YOU HAVE ADMITTED IT , crazy you can actually be physically attracted to someone and not be shallow

It's perfectly possible to be physically attracted to people without having one 'type'...if I lined up people I'd met up with over the last 12 months you'd be hard pushed to find much physical similarity between them, but I found each of them hugely attractive both in terms of looks and personality (else I wouldn't have met them

I've admitted nothing apart from the fact I don't have a *specific* body type that I prefer in a person, which is what you asked and I answered openly and honestly - I can find physical attraction in all sorts of body types.

I have also been at great pains to point out that I don't think anyone is shallow for having any kind of preference when it comes to attraction - it's a very subjective thing and ultimately we all find attraction to people in different ways - the sooner you accept that rather than trying to score ridiculous points the better!!

I like to think I have a decent personality and wicked sense of humour but I realise my body lets me down when trying to attract some ladies.trying to get myself healthy(for myself) with trips to the gym and if a side affect is more interest then so be it.
