I would say no. Some men take friendliness as a come on but that's more their problem than a problem with friendliness. It's possible to be too nice for your own good though as some people don't deserve your kindness.

I was frequently "accused" of this when I was younger. People would telle "you will get yourself in trouble" . I was friendly to men and women alike but only being friendly to men was wrong. If anything I'm less friendly now than previously although nobody would accuse me of being unfriendly off line.

All depends on who you're being friendly to.

There are those that will take full advantage and be your "friend" because you can offer them something, when in reality they couldn't give 2 shits if you vanished off the face of the earth. If you were in need they wouldn't come through for ya, they only want the bits that benefit them.

"Do think you can be?

"

Maybe... If I'm in a good mood I can be very bubbly and outgoing, which can sometimes be mistaken as a sign of interest and leads to awks moments and convos... On the other hand, sometimes I am genuinely and embarrassingly smitten with someone but they don't realise it because 'I seem to flirt with everyone'. I'm not very good at this 'being an adult' lark

To answer the question I think you can be too friendly. It can be intrusive and unwanted.

In the middle

I am quite friendly, I chit chat all day to different people but there are those that get the face if they overstep the mark, people seem to open up to me where as I hardly give anything of myself away.

I don’t chat to anyone on here regularly as I don’t want to be accused of leading anyone on

Is being friendly the same as being too trusting and too kind? Both of us are very friendly but we don't trust people until we know they can be trusted. I don't think friendliness is the same as being quick to trust, is it?

I would say no. I'm very approachable in life, so I always get into conversations with old people and charity workers. When it comes to trust there aren't many people that I do trust completely. I usually will play it safe especially when it's around unknown people

We never get in to conversations with charity workers . Both of us will start up a conversation or respond to people if they do except for the weirdo on the bus...

Your lucky . If I get within 10 metres of a charity worker I'm being targeted lol. I'm used to it now and I would never be mean to them as they're just doing their job. But any other time I'm minding my own business and someone will start a conversation with me. Sometimes it has been insightful so don't be afraid of random people, just be cautious of some of the crazier people around lmao

Both of us just smile at charity workers and politely say "no thank you" if they chase us down the road we are somewhat firmer though.

I started a convo with a lady on here.

During the convo she said she needed to pick up a prescription, but didn't have any cash.

(yes I did)

Then...... Of course there was something else she needed money for.

That will teach me for trying to be helpful and trusting.
