I dont normally watch any TV apart from Netflix/Amazon. However I spent the night at my parents house and my mum was watching TOWIE.

After a few minutes of it just being background noise I tried to pay attention.

I lasted about 4 minutes before I could feel my brain beginning to die. Is this really what is classed as entertainment these days? The women were all in the grip of some weird body dysmorphia. None of them could articulate words correctly due to lip fillers, there was a complete inability to facially express any emotion and the conversation was... it was like listening to teenagers learning a school play while the teacher whispers every line first.

If this is really what kids are aspiring to be then we are fucked.

Amen sir!

I am utterly baffled at the popularity of the vast majority of (Un!)’Reality’ TV.

I’d especially rank the lamentable Love Island and Geordie Shaw as the absolute nadir in this dreadful genre.

Also, any of those awful shows which pop up on MTV.

Hell, such is the sorry state of affairs that I’ve just come up with a surely winning idea to pitch to the makers of these things:

I call it, ‘Fame Hungry, Plastic Twats Eat Shit For A Month In Syria’. Sounds great right?
