RIP Jocky Wilson

just heard dart legend Jocky Wilson died last night aged 62 at home.

Two time world champ in '82 & '89.

RIP Jocky and thanks for some great games when at the top of your game.

I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did. Whenever I saw him play he always looked like he was about to keel over.

I was just looking to see if anyone else had posted it.

I was a big darts fan when he was at his best and i did meet him.

Its a shame hes died but he didnt live the most healthy of lifestyles

RIP Jocky.....darts players often didn't have the healthiest lifestyle and this news did make me think of Not the Nine O'clock News Darts Sketch....funny as hell

yes would have loved to see him pit his wits against dart players of today,

I was sad when I heard that.

I grew up in Fife when Jocky was hitting the big time.

There was a story about Jocky and his wife - Malvinas, I think - before the cash started coming in.

Neither had any teeth and they had one set of falsies between them. Jocky would wear them to the darts and Malvinas would wear them to the bingo.
