I don't have a favourite. There is one whose mood is more changeable so she's not always as easy to get on with as the others but that's very different. My three are all quite different but have lovely natures.

I unfortunately do not have any children or any I know off, but when I lived in Cairo up until recently, I helped out at a charity that helps Orphaned or abandoned children.

Unfortunately we have around 1.7 million here in Egypt, I got particularly fond of a little boy 8yrs old and his sister 7yrs, cut a long story, I now sponsor both of them with accommodation, food, health care costs and a good education and I shall visit them frequently, they are the only family I think I shall ever have.

Hiding in the shadows

At a comedy night with friends, one of the acts wasn't going down well.

He was doing a bit about his kids, he joked "admit it, we all have a favourite kid"

Louder than I realised I said "no, I don't like any of them"

It got the biggest laugh of his show

I often say the Eldest is officially my favourite.

He doesn't live at home

But no I don't have a favourite.

They're all amazing, in their own individual ways

And I'm damn proud of them all x

Pfft. You're only 49. Charlie Chaplin was in his 80's and still fathering kids, so plenty of time for you!

Brilliant thing to do though, sponsoring the two you do.

I tried to private message you to ask this, but it says I can't as females are banned. So ... can I ask why there are so many orphaned or abandoned children? Are there organisations that help? Etc etc ....

no course not its the same with siblings and mates you love them but theres always one your closest to its human nature to be outraged by it is a bit daft really its nature id step in front of a car for any of them but theres always 1 that your closest to it used to be the oldest until the 3yr old was born stop being silly

No favourites, they are my world. Love my boys equally but in different ways.

My eldest is 25 and my rock, there for me through everything and in the past has supported me in ways a son shouldn't have too, but he did willingly. I spoil him rotten.

My youngest is 23 and my creative genius, I've supported him through University, mental health issues and just loved him, properly Mother him. He lives and works away so I spoil him when he is home

Favouritism never sits well with me, my Mother made no secret that my eldest brothere was her favourite, followed by my other brother. She loved her boys, I have no doubt she loved me, but she did love her boys a touch more than me. I accepted it, but vowed to never make my children feel how I felt.
