and I could maybe get to that stage with the right person but I’ve come out of a 22 year abusive relationship and I won’t let any man tell me what to do again

Sounds like they are clingy so maybe distance yourself from them. Or if they are fun to meet tell them that but be clear on your terms and if they don't like it then they need to find someone else. It all depends on what you really want though as you are already saying that.

Had a guy say this to me. After lots of messages we arranged to meet but he was out of town so meet was a couple of weeks away.

He asked me not to see anyone else in the meantime. He knew I had a fwb and a Dom I see regularly so I told him no.

He called me a slag and blocked me.
