List advantages and disadvantages of being tall or short

Keep it lighthearted and fun

Tall people can see over crowds

Short people aren't allowed on some fair ground rides

I Imagine an advantage of being short would be you can wear killer heels without feeling and looking like a man in drag

Hiding in the shadows

Being tall.

I get all the old dears in supermarkets asking me get things off shelves for them.

I love this, more than happy to help.

Trying to find clothes to fit is never easy.

I always don't wear short skirts/dresses deliberately.

On a normal person, they'd be knee length

Manchester (she/her)

I think I've got a happy medium going.

Although my legs are short, and needing petite trousers is a pain in the arse.

On a mooch

Lol I’m short, never not been able to get on a fairground ride

Disadvantages:-

- reaching the top shelf in my kitchen I need a ladder, so nothing is stored up there. Same goes for supermarkets, but I’ve learned to scale the shelves

- tube travel, getting bashed on the head by tall people’s elbows; or having to surf as can’t reach the pile; or the worst my face stuck in their arm pit

- some of these stupid new bars where my head and shoulders just about peer over the parapet

- feet dangling when sitting in most chairs

Advantages:-

- dab hand at walking quickly and scooting under people’s arms when they all of a sudden stop

- too tall a person, makes me feel like a kid walking down the street with them

- mostly go unnoticed

No just feeling like your going to break your neck any minute as walking on your toes

Being tall = so easy to ride big horses though disadvantage is looking silly on short horses because have long legs

Being short = still ride ponies

I completely forgot clothes.... dresses, waist doesn’t sit where it should, length too long, likewise skirts and jeans / trousers even petite nowadays is too long

This so much. Lovely 3/4 trousers or jumpsuits just look silly. They don't sit right. They fall just above my ankles x

North East Scotland, mostly

Being short, you can never bloody see in the theatre or at a concert, your trousers trail on the ground and get wet, and you have to sit so close to the steering wheel when driving it's tricky to get out!

If you're short you don't need to rule out as many people because you'll tower over them in heels. More choice for us shorties
