Gym buddie

Hi all , I’m looking at finally going to the gym to shift some weight . As I don’t want to go alone and have no clue what to do as I’ve never been , I was wondering if anyone on here would be interested in being a gym buddies or giving me advice etc ?

I’m based in Surrey .

I’d hapoyily go on my own but don’t know if I would get bored as such easily.

With someone to spur each other on would be an incentive to carry on
