Morning morning

So today im partaking in a skydive, raising money for work, its something I've always wanted to do, so mega excited and a tad nervous.

So how many fabsters like to walk on the wilder side of life?

Anyone done a skydive? Any last minute advice?

Make sure you have a parachute attached not a backpack.

"Make sure you have a parachute attached not a backpack. "

I'll be strapped to a fully qualified professional, so dont really need to worry about having the right gear... Hopefully anyways.

Are going for tandem or solo dive?

In tandem really nothing to check

Solo diving needs lots of preparation before actual jump

There's nothing quite like following the paths that others fear to tread. That's my life. I can't help it. Whether it's travelling at high speed or surfing nature's huge energy or just simply doing things because others are too scared...some of us are just drawn along those paths.

Go for it lady. It'll be a huge buzz and keep in mind that riding gravity is free energy...getting up in the sky isn't, but don't worry about that.

Life is as exciting as you make it, and most people just look on in awe. Enjoy x

In a town Fab forgot

Don't pull the ripcord until you're 2 feet from the ground.

If it doesn't open you can jump the last 2 feet.

All my jumps have been static line....

Good luck OP.

Mountain biking. Used to race but broke my neck, collar bone 3 ribs and pierced a lung so retired from racing. Still ride though.

Get insured. Cheap and worth it. I stupidly did not

I wish I had that kind of energy and life does tend to have a habit of getting in the way.

Did a static line for charity when I was in 6th form and should have carried on going but I didn't drive and the place was 70 miles away. I've actually been chatting with a housemate about starting lessons again and working up to solo free fall. I haven't looked into it but the last time you had to do 6 static lines and 4 tandoms I think before you could freefall solo. The static line was amazing

me.. skateboarding, inline skating, bmx, snowboarding, surfing, cliff jumping, waterboarding, downhill mountainbiking, snowboarding, waterskiing, monoskiing.. if I can go fast and pull off tricks.. I'm up for it.

Probably why I joined the forces and ended up in a warzone?

Probably why I'm on Fab?
