Even back in my day (lol) I never went on a date, just talked to people you meet at college, the pub, work and went from there

Best first date I've had was two years ago... I'd met the lady once socially but our first date was at Kestrels

Within minutes she'd been introduced to my wife and friends naked in the pool and much fun was had. 14 months later we were handfasted with her husband making her dress and my wife helping her into it.

Our first date was a walk around a nature reserve.

In February.

With lots of snow.

It was freezing!!!

It went well though, since we're still together 2-1/2 years on.

Been dating 5 yrs now on and off. Had some great dates. Some surprisingly kinky nights. Some disappointing dates. Dating apps have definitely made it all disposable like many other things in society today. Makes it hard to find a real connection, as at the first sign of trouble everyone has a pocket full of other matches.

Too many game players. I’m too honest for most I think ! Tend to say things as I see them. Seems this isn’t for everyone despite honesty being what people claim they want.

Can be frustrating. Optimistic all the same.

I haven't had a first date in many years but they always went well to be honest.

I do class 1-1 socials as dates though to a degree but that's partly to do with me only looking for regular meets. I've had the odd bad one. The last first date I had was wonderful and we have had 5 subsequent dates there after and if we can juggle it hopefully another tomorrow

My last first date was 9 years ago, just after I got home from a holiday which is why I remember. She was a pretty little school teacher and I spent the first part of the date feeling nervous and talking like a posh version of myself lol then she pulled me on it, we laughed about it and that settled any nerves. We had a few drinks and a meal before getting a taxi to her street. I walked her to her door and enjoyed what I can remember to be a great kiss, before watching her go inside and then walking home to my own gaff.
