I'm in a polyamorous relationship. Polygamy is unfortunatly illegal in this country. I guess its lucky I'm not interested in marriage.

Ah ye i misspoke in the title of the post. Intrigued about peoples long terms experiences and how things are balanced with time and affection ...esp if its based on heterosexual relations

Balance is subjective. We're happy. He's heterosexual, his other partner is heteexible, I'm bisexual, I've mostly dated heterosexual men though there was one bisexual man and I almost dated another bisexual woman but that's been a non starter for years.

Not sure the law is keeping up with the world..

The would be some befits to the family unit if there was 2 mum's 2 dad's 3 bread winners or 4 as some scientists suggest this is how we live as cave people..

Not all sex but social and economic as well.

Polygamy is marrying more than one person. Polyamory isn't illegal. Just frowned upon

There are so many versions of poly relationships and not all of them sexual.

I’m a platonic woman in a small group of polyamorous people, some of whom are sexual with other members and some, like me, who have a deep connection with another person (in my case a woman) but aren’t interested in anything sexual although most of them are shagging each other!

We are also hundreds of miles apart so logistics and organisation is key.

As my darling woman states “love breeds love, how can I not share it”.

Think polyamourous is a good idea, people have varying sexual needs, and like variety, religion has generally ruined this view, and especially demonises female sexuality, and same sex relations,

I guess im referring more to a 3 or 4 person committed exclusive relationship. Menage a tois for keeps. Its hard to picture these lasting til death do us part etc...
