I don't think I've ever been rejected on here but it's a very different experience for men and women.

I guess just bear in mind the amount of competition you have and the fact that most people know what they're looking for, they'll dismiss those that don't fit that.

I wouldn't give it too much thought OP. It's happened and yes it can sting but you can brush yourself off again and carry on. If it gets a bit too meh, log off and do something that'll release those endorphins in to your system.

My rejections have been of a different kind. As a single I was contacted a fair amount (I have a vagina, of course I was)

What happened a fair few times with me was guys telling me they thought I was ace, open and honest, then they'd come clean in the end about their relationship status, and tell me I was too sweet and caring a person to screw over and lie to, and that as much as they may want to meet me they then respected me too much not to be honest with me, even though they knew it would be a game changer.

I don't get rejected very often. Only because I rarely send the first message.

I think most people know what they're here for and capable of finding the men who float their boat.

I just make myself visible enough to get noticed.

Occasionally I will chase someone, which usually ends up ignored (not rejected) or pleasantly surprised with a nice response.
